Peter Elias’s name is synonymous with good taste, style and international associations. He started off in the textile industry and now has a growing chain of retail outlets offering both women and men ready-to-wear clothing. He has contributed to our country through the Miss Trinidad and Tobago arena. Selecting, grooming and styling our more successful delegates on the international stage. Elias started in 1988 and was looking for an avenue to express his creativity in the world of fashion but what inspired Elias and still motivates him now is the evolution of a beautiful delegate into a woman of beauty. In recent years he has developed as a stylist, a relatively new area of the fashion industry and not fully understood by all. This entails the total image beyond the clothing; it incorporates the fit of the clothing, the suitability to the event, the complimenting make-up and appropriate hair style, the positioning, the lighting, the end result being a totally perfect package. He has worked with many delegates including Miss Universe 1998 Wendy Fitzwilliams. Peter Elias graduated in Economics and Art History... his passion for the fashion industry has always been his driving force. He started his fashion career at the age of 15 when he would have items designed and made and his Mother would sell for him in her boutique. It was at this early age that he developed a feel for the fabric industry... which he entered professionally at an early age of 21 years. Today he focuses mainly on styling and image consulting... running the Miss Trinidad and Tobago efforts... his boutiques which also carries many other labels, and loving his baby daughter.
